USA Sports are delighted to announce the extension of their partnership with the Glasgow Clan for the 2026/27 Elite Ice Hockey League season, building on a successful relationship with one of Scotland’s leading professional ice hockey clubs.
The renewed partnership will see USA Sports return to the Clan’s home games throughout the season, with its pop-up NHL merchandise shops appearing at two Clan home fixtures.
The partnership will also see USA Sports take on a new role for the 2026/27 season, becoming a player sponsor of Clan defenceman Matt Spencer.
For USA Sports founder Jaimie Longmuir, the continued relationship with the Clan has a particularly personal significance.
“The Clan are a special club to me personally. I’m from the West Coast of Scotland and was involved with the Ayr Scottish Eagles throughout their history, so I have a real connection with ice hockey in the region.
“To see what the Clan have achieved and the following they have built is truly amazing, and I have nothing but respect for the job everyone at the club continues to do.
“We’re really pleased to be extending our partnership and, this season, to take that a step further by sponsoring Matt Spencer. We’re looking forward to supporting Matt and the Clan throughout the season.
“I was lucky enough to attend a Clan home game last season and was really impressed by the whole match-night experience. The atmosphere and passion of the fans were fantastic, and I’m looking forward to getting back to Glasgow this season.”
USA Sports will announce the dates of their two Clan pop-up events in due course expanding and enhancing its range of official NHL merchandise available to the Clan’s passionate fanbase.
The pop-up shops will give supporters the opportunity to browse and purchase a growing selection of official NHL merchandise while enjoying a Clan game-night experience.
With USA Sports continuing to expand its range, the company currently offers official merchandise from the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB and Formula 1, all available through its UK-based operation and shipped directly from within the UK.
The 2026/27 season will therefore see USA Sports continue to combine its growing presence in the UK sports merchandise market with its long-standing commitment to supporting ice hockey at all levels.
